My great-grandfather installed the first geothermal system in Rochester. Four generations later, the homes look the same but the equipment has changed completely. My father trained me on high-efficiency furnaces and ground-source geothermal loops the same way his father trained him: hands-on, no shortcuts, no upselling what a home doesn’t need.
My brother Gage and I founded 4th Gen Mechanical, LLC in December 2023 to bring that same fourth-generation standard to geothermal and cold-climate heat pump installations -- technology that finally makes sense in upstate New York winters. Whether it’s a furnace tune-up in Greece or a full geothermal loop install in Pittsford, every job gets the same level of care. My name is on the truck.
